It was clear that electric motorcycles would come soon in series on the market, but who would have thought that a relatively small and unknown, yet traditional Italian company would be one of the first to a high-speed sport bike in a class of 220 Km / h top imagines? Energica ego weighs nearly 580 pounds and is powered by a 110 kW motor driven, conveys the high-speed motorcycle at about 220 Km / h. The ego Energica bike is not the lightest, not the fastest electric motorcycle but as already indicated above, one of the first that has gained the street legal. Thus, most of the competition ahead of the bike that failed all of the approval. The Energica ego exists now only as a single prototype in the spring of 2015 but the manufacturer wants to bring the bike in series to the market and sell for scarce € 20,000.
